morgan o'brien is an artist

he lives in galway, ireland with his beautiful wife, two cats and two turtles in a creaky old bungalow, on the top of a hill, in the very centre of a spooky machinery graveyard.

after 3 years of formal training as a traditional animator in dun laoghaire's institute of art, design and technology he decided to specialize in the areas of children’s illustration and design. since then, he has been working on his own children’s books as well as numerous freelance art and design projects. morgan has exhibited his paintings throughout Ireland, and his work can be found in private collections all over the world. his work draws on the innocence and beauty of childhood life, while taking inspiration from nature, and the magical world around us.
